The ingredients needed to prepare Tuti fruti from water melon rind:
- You need As needed water melon rinds
- Use 1/2 cup sugar
- Use 1 cup water
- You need Food colour as per ur choice
- Prepare 2 tsp Vanilla essence
Steps to make Tuti fruti from water melon rind:
- Take some water melon rinds and remove it's green portion. Wee only need white part from the rind. Choose it into small small piecees.
- Now heat water in a pan and add this chopped rinds to it let it cook atleast for 20 to 25 minutes or until it becomes transparent.
- Now remove it from water and keep aside to dry it completely.
- Mean while prepare the sugar syrup. Add sugar and water in a pan and let it cook until the sugar gets dissolve completely.
- Now add this water melons rinds to it and cook till the sugar syrup becomes half.
- Now put off the flame add vanilla essence to it.
- Now remove it from the syrup. Divide it into 3parts and add food different food colour to it.
- Strain it to remove excess of sugar syurup. Now keep it for drying for 12 hour. Tuti fruiti is ready.
